Throttle Body: Service and Repair
Throttle Body, Lower Section

Throttle Body, lower section, component layout 

1 -  Throttle Position (TP) Actuator (V60)

^  With Closed Throttle Position (CTP) Switch (F60)
^  Checking.   See: Throttle Position Actuator/Testing and Inspection
^  When installing, CTP Switch must only be operated by Switch plastic plate with stop screw -6-
^  If necessary loosen bracket -4- and align

2 -  6 Nm (53 in lb) 
3 -  Closed Throttle Position (CTP) Switch (F60)*

^  Checking.   See: Sensors and Switches - Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Closed Throttle Position Switch/Testing and Inspection
^  To replace, replace complete Throttle Position (TP) Actuator -1-

4 -  Bracket with holder for accelerator cable
5 -  Grommet
6 -  Stop screw

^  For Closed Throttle Position (CTP) Switch -3-
^  Checking and adjusting.   See: Sensors and Switches - Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Closed Throttle Position Switch/Testing and Inspection

7 -  Throttle Body, lower section
8 -  Stop screw

^  Factory sealed
^  DO NOT adjust

9 -  O-ring

^  Always replace

10 -  Elbow-connector

^  For Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister

11 -  Bracket
12 -  3 Nm (27 in lb) 
13 -  Vacuum connection

^  For Intake Air pre-heating

14 -  Retaining clip

^  For Throttle Body, upper section

15 -  Throttle Position Sensor (G69)*

^  Checking.   See: Sensors and Switches - Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Position Sensor/Testing and Inspection
^  DO NOT adjust
