Installation 

Installation is the reverse of removal, noting the following information:

If the hydraulic system was opened, bleed brake system. See: Brakes and Traction Control/Brake Bleeding/Service and Repair

For vehicles with ABS/EDL, if the brake fluid reservoir has been completely empty (e.g. leaks in brake system) it is necessary to initiate the
"Basic Setting" function of the On Board Diagnostic (OBD) program.

Otherwise the standard brake bleeding procedures apply. 

Teves Type 04

Control Module, Removing And Installing 
Location: 

-

Up to 01.93 In left front footwell under floor covering in front of passenger seat.

-

From 01.93 under rear seat, right side.

NOTE:  Switch off ignition before disconnecting and connecting connectors.

Removing 

-

Fold up rear seat.

-

Press control module securing clips together and pull out.

-

To pull connector off control module, release control module locking bar.

Installation 

-

Install in reverse order.

-

Engage connector catch in control module slots (arrow A), press connector on (arrow B) and secure with locking bar (arrow C).
