Stalling at first stop after initial start-up at high ambient temperatures
To overcome stalling at the first stop after initial start-up, replace the ECU, noting the caution shown below. Replacement ECU's are now available and
are marked with a silver sticker and production date of 11/89 or later. The parts depots will only supply these ECU'S.
CAUTION
The above condition may also be caused by carbon build-up on intake valves and contaminated injector needle tips. For repairing instructions see Tech.

Control units replaced for the above condition should be marked on the warranty parts tag with the letters - H S T -, indicating that these units are
otherwise functional.
