Fuel Filter With Attachments, Removing and Installing

Fuel Filter With Attachments, Removing And Installing (vehicles With Engine Code BEV)

NOTE:

-

To prevent damage to catalytic converter the fuel system (without return hose to fuel rail) must be bled after repair work on fuel lines or on fuel
filter.

-

The vehicle must only be started after bleeding.

-

Bleed fuel system.

1. Fuel filter

-

Installation position: Arrows point in direction of flow

-

When replacing fuel filter, fuel supply system must be bled.

2. Rubber grommet
3. Retaining clip

-

For fuel pressure regulator

-

Check for secure seating

4. Ground (GND) connection

-

Check for secure seating

-

Bolted on fuel filter bracket

5. Connection, supply line
6. Connection, return line
7. Fuel pressure regulator

-

Checking fuel pressure regulator and residual pressure

8. Seal

Always replace
