Loosen transverse link connection bolt on subframe.

-

Disconnect axle shaft - 1 - from final drive flange shaft - 2 -

-

Install tools as shown in illustration.

-

Pull out ball joint by tightening the spindle.

Installing upper ball joint

-

Install tools as shown in illustration.

-

Pull in ball joint -1 - by turning the spindle.

Tighten vehicle to the lifting platform

Caution:  If the vehicle is not secured, there is a risk that it may slip off the hoist.

Remove plugs from trailing arm - 3 - and tighten tensioning strap.
