Transmission Control Systems > < Clutch Pedal Position Sensor / Switch|Service and Repair

Disengage securing clip - 2 - using a screwdriver and pull out of master cylinder until it stops.

-

Disconnect hose/line assembly - 1 - from master cylinder and plug it.

All vehicles 

-

Disconnect electrical connector - 4 -.

-

Unclip Clutch Position Sensor G476 on master cylinder - arrow - and remove.

Installing 

Installation is in reverse order of removal. Pay attention to the following:

Replace hose clamps.

Allocate all components.

If the hose/line assembly was removed: 

-

Press hose/line assembly - 1 - with O-ring - 2 - into master cylinder connection - 4 - until securing clip - 3 - engages audibly.

Verify by pulling on hose/line assembly.

Bleed clutch system.

All vehicles 

-

Install battery carrier and battery.

-

If removed, install entire air filter housing.

-

Connect battery and follow work steps after connecting battery.
