WARNING:  

Ensure that there is no person inside the vehicle when connecting battery ground strap.

Connect battery ground (GND) strap.

-

Connect VAG 1551, VAS 5051, or VAS 5052 Scan Tool.  - Check all systems for stored DTC's.

-

Erase any stored DTC's.

-

After connecting battery, check vehicle equipment (radio code, clock, electric windows) as per Repair Manual and/or Owner's Manual.

-

Program radio station presets.
