Position standard needle-nose pliers at side between C-pillar - 1 - and steel clip - 2 -.

Disengage locking mechanism of steel clip - 2 - by pushing together using needle-nose pliers - arrows -.

-

Remove steel clip - 2 - from C-pillar - 1 -.

NOTE:  It is not possible to remove steel clip - 2 - without destroying it.
