Maintenance Interval Indicator, Resetting
Reset the service interval indicators in vehicles with service dependent on kilometers traveled or time
You can reset the service interval indicator in two different ways:

through the odometer adjustment key on the instrument panel,
or
-
with the Diagnosis, Measurement and Information System VAS 5051A /52

Note:
The service interval indicator must be reset at every inspection service!
Reset the indicator as explained:

Turn the ignition off.

Press and hold button -1- beside the speedometer.

Turn the ignition on.
In the indication -1-* or -2-** on the instrument panel (depending on the vehicle equipment) -1- the warning "OIL" or "INSP" is displayed on the
reading unit -2- or a workshop symbol "is displayed on the indication unit ".
