Condition
Blower motor -V2-, inoperative during cold temperatures (at or below freezing).
Service
Verify Blower motor operation in climatic conditions at or below freezing (prior to moving vehicle into workshop).
Note:
Check condition quickly once vehicle is in the workshop the warmer temperatures may eliminate condition.
If Blower motor is inoperative:

Verify power and ground supply to motor. If power and ground to motor are OK:

Remove blower motor see VESIS Repair Group 80 - "Heating and ventilation system, servicing"
With blower motor removed:
-
Visually inspect for ice or moisture build-up on commutator bars of motor armature through cut-out in blower motor housing.
If evidence of ice or moisture tracking are present:

Install new blower motor Part No:
