WARNING!
Before working on electronic components, disconnect the battery ground (GND) strap

NOTE:

Before disconnecting battery cables, take all notes into account regarding coding in radio operating instructions.

After reconnecting the battery cables, check vehicle equipment, such as radio, clock and window regulator.

Remove wheel house trim (Golf).

Remove wheel house trim (Jetta).
