With selector lever in position "1" remove solenoid with locking pin and spring from the selector lever housing. Move selector lever back and
forth slightly if necessary.

Installing
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

Adjust locking cable.

Check operation of ignition key withdrawal lock.

Check selector mechanism.
