Installing carrier assembly

Pull operating lever -1- in direction of arrow.

-

Tension spring -2- which is secured on door lock in direction of arrow with a screwdriver and hook spring into locking lever.

NOTE:  Hooking the operating lever in locks the lock and prevents incorrectly attaching the bowden cable later.

Guide electrical wiring through boot into door and secure clips in door panel.

Install carrier assembly in door.

Insert all bolts and tighten bolts marked -1- and -2- in sequence. Tightening torque: 8 Nm (71 in. lb).

NOTE:  The remaining bolts can be tightened in any sequence.

Remove window guide in reverse order, install center frame and door window and connect door window with window regulator.

Remaining installation is in reverse order of removal.

Check function of door components.
