Drivers Side Front Door Trim, Removing And Installing

NOTE:

-

Since partition is very narrow, use a sharp screwdriver to prevent damage to panel and grip recess.

-

Obtain radio unit code before disconnecting battery.

-

Do not grasp in grip depression when pulling off grip recess as a strut secured to door trim is underneath.

-

Removing and installing driver side front door trim for vehicles with manual window regulators is same as removing and installing Passengers side
front door trim

Removing

CAUTION:  Disconnect battery ground (GND) strap before working on electrical system.

Switch ignition off.

-

Insert flat screwdriver in lower partition between panel - 1 - and grip recess - 2 -.

-

Unclip grip recess - 2 - upward out of door trim, do not reach into grip depression while doing so, to prevent damage to brace - 1 -.

-

Press locking lug against connector - 3 - - arrow - and remove.

-

Remove screws - arrows -.

-

Unclip door trim - 1 - at sides using Disassembly pliers 3392.

-

Lift door trim upward out of window recess.
