NOTE:

It is not necessary to discharge the refrigerant circuit to remove and install the A/C clutch.

Remove ribbed belt See Repair Manual, Engine Mechanical, Repair Group 13.

On Diesel engines, remove charge air cooler 1.9 Liter TDI 4-Cyl. Diesel Engine Mechanical.
