Diagnosis cable VAS 5051/3

Operate the parking brake.

Automatic transmission: Position the selector lever in "P" or "N".

Mechanical transmission: selector lever at dead center.

Turn the Vehicles diagnosis, measurement and information system VAS 5051 on.

Turn the ignition on.
