ATF pump, disassembling and assembling

Replacement ATF pump parts and the ATF pump are allocated according to the transmission code.

1. Piston ring

Check that it is correctly located see Fig. 1

-

Installing see Fig. 2

2. Piston ring

-

Check that it is correctly located see Fig. 1

-

Installing see Fig. 2

3. Piston ring

-

Check that it is correctly located see Fig. 1

Installing see Fig. 2

4. Thrust washer
5. Piston

-

Sealing lips are vulcanized to the piston

-

Moisten sealing lips with ATF before inserting

-

Turn piston slightly when installing

6. Bolt, 10 Nm 

-

Then turn 45° further 

7. Stator support
8. Outer gear

-

Manufacturer's marking (arrow) faces stator support

-

If outer gear is incorrectly installed, the ATF pump may not operate freely in the installed position
