Check right rear brake line for wear (area shown by black arrow)

If wear marks are visible, go to Section B, otherwise proceed to next step

Check the distance between the right rear brake line and the rear axle using gauge VWM 047203; insert gauge with flat side against axle and round
side measuring the distance at the bottom of the large radius

If the distance is greater than the gauge size (brake line can rub against fuel tank) adjust the brake line position (move toward axle) to the required
gauge size distance

If the distance is less than the gauge size (gauge does not fit), no adjustment is needed

Remove tool

-

Remove vehicle from hoist - No further work is required
