The battery load test information contained in this bulletin is new.

Pages 27-3 and 27-4 are formatted for the Golf III/GTI/Jetta III Repair Manual and replace the existing information contained on page 27-3 of the
Electrical Equipment book.

When load testing the battery, use only the new information contained in this Bulletin. The existing battery load test information on page 27-3 of the
Electrical Equipment book is incorrect.

In addition, a note regarding battery removing/installing is included in this bulletin and will be added to page 27-12 of the Electrical Equipment book.

This new information will be integrated during the next printing of the Electrical Equipment book.
