Squeaking noises from clutch pedal

MODEL(s): 
Golf/GTI/Jetta CANADA only from 1993 m.y.

Condition

Clutch pedal squeaks during operation.

Service

- Grease contact points on clutch over-center spring, arrows -1- and -2-, with lithium grease

If over-center spring is still noisy:

- Remove over-center spring
- Grease internal sliding mechanism of spring
- Reinstall over-center spring
