Condition
HVAC Blower Fan Speed Can Not Be Regulated
HVAC blower operates only on high speed setting. Fan speed setting cannot be regulated.
Note:
The condition as described does not compromise visibility.
Technical Background
Heavy snow and ice accumulated through the cabin air intake cowl may cause the HVAC blower to become obstructed and cause the blower speed to
operate only on high speed (unregulated) setting.
Production Solution
No production change required.
Service

Set wipers to service/winter position.
Tip:

Wiper can be moved to this position by switching ignition ON then OFF. Within 10 seconds of switching ignition OFF, press down on windshield
wiper switch.
