Technical Background

Tip:

Improved lock cylinders can be rotated 360 if inward pressure is applied to the key. This is a normal function of the anti-theft design. DO NOT replace
the lock cylinder for this condition.

Replace driver's door lock cylinder ONLY. See Required Parts and Tools. (see Repair Manual Body Interior Group 57 - Front doors, Central locking
system, Door lock, removing and installing).
