Disconnect connector from Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch -F125-.

-

Remove mounting bolt and retainer.

-

Remove Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch.

-

Replace O-ring.
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

-

Tighten bolt to 10 Nm.

-

Erase DTC memory of Transmission Control Module (TCM), Diagnostic mode 4: Reset/erase diagnostic data.

-

Generate readiness code.

Vehicles with 09A transmission

-

Determine whether a coded radio is installed. In this case, determine anti-theft coding.

-

Switch ignition off and disconnect battery Ground (GND) strap.

-

Remove battery.

-

Remove battery holder.

-

Remove securing nut (arrow).

-

Remove lever -1- from shift rod.

-

Disconnect connector -2- from Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch -F125-.

-

Remove Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch -F125- (-3-).

-

Attach Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch on shift rod as shown.

NOTE:  Groove -1- of shift rod and markings -2- of multi-function switch must face each other.
