FM Frequency Filter, Negative Wire

FM frequency filters are located behind both upper C-pillar trim. 

Removing

CAUTION!
‹› Switch off all electrical consumers.

‹› Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.

Remove right C-pillar trim. 

-

Disconnect electrical connection - 2 -.

-

Unclip filter - 1 - from C-pillar.

Negative wire is routed in wiring harness to Ground Connection 61.

Cut ground wire in an appropriate location.

Wiring from connection - 2 - is soldered to rear window -  3 -.
