Clean the window seal and begin the installation of Part No. 1Y0 871 435 at front leading edge of lowered glass heading toward the A- pillar. The
glue edge must point down and center in channel.

Locate where the outer glass touches the outer glass seal and install Part No: 1Y0 871 435 into the outer window seal, between the seal and the outer
molding.

Re-install interior door panels (see Repair Manual Body Interior Group 70-Trim/insulation, Drivers side front door trim, removing and installing or
Passengers side front door trim, removing and installing.

Tip:

Ensure all door functions operate properly after installation of door panel.

Tighten all outer door panel fasteners to specification.
