Trim Panel With Power Lumbar Adjustment

Vehicles with electric seat adjustment

-

Remove left power seat trim. Refer to --> [ Power Seat Trim, Left ] See: Service and Repair/Front Seats/Power Seat Trim, Left.

All vehicles

-

Remove front seat backrest. Refer to --> [ Front Seat Backrest ] See: Service and Repair/Front Seats/Front Seat Backrest.

Attach the backrest to the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136).

-

Press button in headrest and pull headrest - 2 - out of backrest.

Remove headrest guides - 1 - and - 3 -. Refer to --> [ Headrest Guides ] See: Service and Repair/Front Seats/Headrest Guides.

Only vehicles with manual lumbar adjustment

-

Remove adjusting wheel - 4 - for lumbar adjustment using disassembly pliers (3392).

All vehicles

-

Disengage backrest profile - 5 - on both sides.

-

Release profile - 6 - from mount - 7 -. 

-

Disengage tension wire - 1 - from backrest frame on left and right sides.

-

Disengage profiles - 2 - on left and right sides from mounts - 3 -.
