Leak Detection Pump (LDP) V144, Checking

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Hand multimeter V.A.G 1526 or Multimeter V.A.G 1715

-

Test adapter kit V.A.G 1594

-

Wiring diagram

Test conditions

-

The respective fuse of Leak Detection Pump (LDP) V144 must be OK.

-

The Power Supply Relay (Terminal 30, B+) J317 must be OK, checking

-

Ignition switched off.

Test sequence

-

Remove right rear wheelhousing liner.

-

Disconnect 3-pin connector of Leak Detection Pump (LDP) V144 - 3

-

Measure resistance between terminals 1 + 3 of Leak Detection Pump V144.

Specification: 640 to 720 Ohms

-

Measure resistance between terminals 2 + 3 of Leak Detection Pump V144
