Discharge Air Temperature Sensor / Switch: Procedures

Left Vent Temperature Sensor G150 / Right Vent Temperature Sensor G151, Removing And Installing

Removing:

CAUTION:

-

Switch off all electrical consumers.

-

Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.

NOTE:  Removal of sensors on both sides is identical, only the sides are reversed.

-

Remove cover at left or right on instrument panel

-

Disconnect electrical connection - 1 - from sensor - 2 -.

-

Rotate sensor - 2 - 90 degrees in direction of - arrow - and remove from instrument panel.

Installing:

Install in reverse order of removal.

Removing:

-

Remove instrument panel

-

Remove screws from bracket.

-

Disconnect electrical connection at sensor - 1 -.

-

Press bracket lightly toward left, rotate sensor - 1 - 90 degrees and remove from housing.

Installing:

Install in reverse order of removal.
