Servo motor with control module, removing and installing
Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Holding Fixture VW 313

Thrust piece 3253/6 qty. 2

Torque Wrench 5-50 Nm V.A.G 1331

Transmission holder T10108
^
2 bolts M10 x 60
Removing
-
Remove steering gear.
-
Clean steering gear in area of servo motor with control module.
-
Tension steering gear using 2 bolts M 10 x 60 as depicted in the illustration.
-
Remove hydraulic thrust piece.
-
Rotate steering gear in mounting bracket so that steering pinion points upward.
