Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Thrust plate (VW 402)

‹› Assembly tool (T10230)

Removing

-

Remove the trailing arm. Refer to --> [ Trailing Arm with Mounting Bracket ] See: Service and Repair/Trailing Arm with Mounting Bracket.

Install the tools as shown in the illustration.

Remove the bonded rubber bushing.

Installing

-

Place the trailing arm on a level surface.
