A Screw spindle from seal installer set (3066) into the threaded piece of differential.
B Nut M12

-

Pull seal with sleeve in up to stop via thrust pad (T10148) by turning nut - B -.

-

Fill area between sealing lip and dust lip halfway with sealing grease (G 052 128 A1).

Insert flange shaft.

-

Secure flange shaft with countersunk bolt.

If you have removed turbocharger oil return line at engine, re-install it now - arrow - .

-

Install drive shaft - 1 - to flange shaft

-

If equipped, install driveshaft shield

and Filling.

Install noise insulation 

Tightening Specifications

Flange shaft to transmission (conical head bolt) --> [ 12 Countersunk bolt, 25 Nm ] See: Differential/Service and Repair/Differential,
