‹› Mounting nuts of wiper arms are to be tightened to specification only after end position of windshield wiper blades has been set.

Deactivate APP function if not already done by this time. Refer to --> [ Wiper Motor Control Module, Deactivating APP Function ] See: Relays
and Modules - Wiper and Washer Systems/Wiper Control Module/Testing and Inspection.

With the ignition on, switch the windshield wipers on and off again to move the Windshield Wiper Motor (V) into the park position.

Place the wiper arms on the wiper arm shafts in the approximate park positions and tighten the nuts - arrows - by hand.

Adjust the windshield wiper blade park position. Refer to --> [ Windshield Wiper Blades, Adjusting Park Position ] See: Adjustments/Windshield

Install the cover and trim.

Removing

-

Switch rear window wiper on and off again with ignition on in order to drive wiper arm into the end position.

-

Flip up cover - 1 - on rear window wiper and unclip.

Loosen nut - arrow -, without completely removing. 

‹› Aero wiper blades are very flexible. Grasp wiper blade only in area of wiper blade mount to lift them off rear window.
