Fuel Door Release Actuator: Service and Repair

Fuel Tank Door Unit

Removing

‹› If tank lid does not open, it can be opened by hand via the release rod - 7 -. For this, the right side luggage compartment trim must be removed.

Open fuel tank door lid.

-

Remove fuel tank cap.

-

Remove bolt - 4 -.

-

Pull rubber piece of fuel tank lid unit - 2 - from fuel tank filler neck - 1 -.

-

Pull fuel tank lid unit- 2 - with drain hose -  3 - toward rear and swivel fuel tank lid unit out of side panel.

-

Unclip assembly piece - 5 - from side panel and pull off assembly piece from release rod - 7 -.

Installing

‹› Assembly piece - 5 - is slid on.
