Trunk / Liftgate Handle: Service and Repair

Rear Lid, Sedan

Grip Piece

Removing

-

Remove rear lid trim.

-

Remove lock cylinder. Refer to --> [ Lock Cylinder ]. See: Service and Repair/Lock Cylinder

-

Disconnect connector - 5 -.

-

Unscrew nuts - 6 - and remove grip piece -  7 -.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

Tightening specification for hex nuts: 8 Nm

‹› Before the rear lid is closed, a function test of the unlocking components must be performed.
