‹› Install exhaust system free of stress, refer to --> [ Exhaust System, Installing ] See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Exhaust System/Service and

Repair/Exhaust System, Installing.

Clamp

‹› Before tightening, ensure exhaust system is free of tension, refer to --> [ Exhaust System, Installing ] See: Engine, Cooling and

Exhaust/Exhaust System/Service and Repair/Exhaust System, Installing.

‹› Installed location, refer to --> [ Installed Position of Clamp ] 

‹› Tighten the bolts evenly.

Nut, 25 Nm

Nut, 23 Nm

Front crossmember

Oxygen Sensor (O2S) behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) (G130), 55 Nm

‹› Only use hot bolt paste (G 052 118 A3) to grease the threads; do not let the hot bolt paste (G 052 118 A3) get onto the slits of the sensor body.

Connector

‹› Brown, 4 pin.

‹› Installed location, refer to --> [ Installed Position Harness Connector for Oxygen Sensor ]

Bolt, 25 Nm

Suspended mount

‹› Replace if damaged.

Installed Position of Clamp

- Arrow - points in direction of vehicle travel.

-

Align the clamp - 1 - to the marking on catalytic converter - 2 -.

- a  -= 5 mm

Bolts must not project beyond the lower edge of the clamp.
