First, disconnect negative (-) battery terminal clamp -  1 - from battery ground (GND) post.

Then, disconnect positive (B+) battery terminal clamp -  2 - from battery positive post.

Connecting

CAUTION!

Procedure

Connect the positive (B+) battery terminal clamp - 2 - to the battery positive post and tighten the mounting bolt to the specified tightening
specification. Refer to --> [ Battery Tightening Specifications ] See: Specifications.

Connect the negative (-) battery terminal clamp - 1 - to the battery negative post and tighten the mounting bolt to the specified tightening
specification. Refer to --> [ Battery Tightening Specifications ] See: Specifications.
