Socket head cap screw, 20 Nm

Clutch release lever

‹› Remove and install together with release bearing --> [ Removing and installing release bearing ] 

‹› Remove grease already present

Release bearing

‹› Do not wash-out bearing, only wipe off

‹› Replace noisy bearings

‹› Removing from clutch lever and inserting into clutch lever --> [ Removing and installing release bearing ] 

‹› Lubricate contact surfaces of release lever with MoS2 grease

Collar bolt, 20 Nm

Clutch master cylinder

‹› Removing and installing --> [ Slave Cylinder ] See: Clutch Hydraulic System/Clutch Slave Cylinder/Service and Repair

Plunger

Assembly bolt

‹› Secures clutch release lever when installing transmission

‹› Remove after transmission has been installed

‹› If the assembly bolt --> [ 12 Assembly bolt ] is not equipped, a bolt M 8 x 35 can be used.

Removing and installing clutch release lever with release bearing

Unhook spring - arrow 1 -.

-

Pull off clutch release lever - arrow 2 - and release bearing.

-

Installation is in reverse order of removal.
