Remove the brake caliper and secure it with wire so that the weight of the brake caliper does not burden or damage the brake hose.

Remove the brake pads from the brake caliper.

Cleaning

CAUTION!
 Do not blow compressed air on the brake system components, the dust produced is harmful to health!

Thoroughly clean all contact surfaces for the brake pads on the brake carrier, and remove any corrosion.

Use only appropriate solvents for cleaning the brake caliper.

Installing

Before pressing piston into the cylinder, some brake fluid must be extracted from the brake fluid reservoir. Otherwise, especially if the
reservoir has been topped off, fluid will overflow and cause damage.

Press the piston in using the (T10145).

Insert the inner brake pad (piston side) - 1 - and outer brake pad - 2 - with the retaining springs into the brake caliper.
