Continuation for All Engine Codes

Remove the exhaust system suspended mount - arrows -. 

-

Remove the front tunnel bridge to underbody nuts - arrows  - and bridge.

CAUTION!
Danger of damaging the decoupling element:

‹› Decoupling element must not be bent more than 10 degrees.

‹› Do not load decoupling element on cable.

‹› Do not damage wire mesh at decoupling element.

Loosen the clamping sleeve - 1 - and push it rearward.

Remove the front exhaust pipe with catalytic converter.

Installing

‹› Tightening specifications, refer to --> [ Exhaust System Assembly Overview ] See: Service and Repair/Exhaust System Assembly Overview. 

‹› Tunnel bridge to underbody nuts: 25 Nm

Install in reverse order of removal. When doing this note the following: 

‹› Replace gaskets and self locking nuts.
