Front Cross-Member Bushing: Service and Repair

Subframe Bushings

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Installation device (3372)

‹› Assembly tool (T10214)

‹› Assembly tool (T10244)

Removing

-

Remove the subframe. Refer to --> [ Subframe without Steering Gear ] See: Front Cross-Member/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Subframe without Steering Gear.

Attach the (T10244) to the subframe.

Press out both bushings at the same time as depicted in the illustration. 

‹› Flattened side of the (3372/1) must point toward the insert - A - of the (T10244) otherwise the insert may be damaged.

‹› (T10244/3) has a larger and a smaller inner diameter. The subframe must contact the larger inner diameter of the (T10244/3).
