Press the lever on the brake caliper - 2 - in -  direction of arrow - and engage the parking brake cable -  3 -.

Press the spring clip - 1 - onto the parking brake cable.

With Retaining Tabs on the Parking Brake Cable

Slide the parking brake cable into the bracket on the brake caliper so that the retaining tabs - arrows - engage.

Press the lever on the brake caliper - 1 - in -  direction of arrow - and engage the parking brake cable -  2 -.

Adjust the parking brake. Refer to --> [ Parking Brake, Adjusting ] See: Parking Brake System/Adjustments.

Install the wheels..

‹› Before moving the vehicle, press the brake pedal firmly several times to properly seat the brake pads in their normal operating position.

‹› Check the brake fluid level.
