Unhook brace from actuator lever - 1 -.

-

Remove screws - 2 - and remove motor - 3 -. 

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following.

‹› After installing, check motor/door function.

‹› Initiate "Basic Setting" function using Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051/5052) in operating mode "Guided Fault

Finding" --> [ Climatronic Components, Checking and Adjusting ] See: Testing and Inspection/Climatronic Components, Checking and Adjusting.

Removing

CAUTION!
‹› Switch off all electrical consumers.

‹› Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.

Remove glove compartment.

Remove right footwell air vent --> [ Right Footwell Air Vent ] See: Air Register/Service and Repair/Instrument Panel Vents.

-

Disconnect electrical connection from Right Temperature Door Motor (V159).

-

Remove screws - 1 - and remove motor.
