Receiver Dryer: Service and Repair

Fluid Reservoir with Dryer Cartridge

Removing

CAUTION!
‹› Switch off all electrical consumers.

‹› Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.

Evacuate refrigerant circuit using refrigerant recycling/recovery unit Kent-Moore ACR4 (or UL approved equivalent)

Bring lock carrier into service position

-

Remove screws - arrows -.

-

Hang radiator assembly on Shop crane - load cap = 700-1200kg (VAS 6100) and engine sling (2024A) using workshop equipment (cable ties or
welding wire) and unhook cooler from lock carrier, coolant hoses and refrigerant lines remain connected.

Remove bolt - 2 - and remove retaining clip.

CAUTION!
‹› Frostbite danger!

‹› High pressure refrigerant may leak out if refrigerant circuit is not discharged.
