Left Driver's Side Trim without Storage Compartment

Removing

‹› For reasons of clarity, the steering wheel is not depicted in the illustration, it is not necessary to remove it.

Switch off ignition.

-

Remove side instrument panel cover on driver side. Refer to --> [ Side Instrument Panel Covers ].

Press rotary light switch toward front, rotate it toward right until it stands vertically, now pull it out and disconnect wiring harness.

Remove steering column trim gap cover from instrument panel. Refer to --> [ Steering Column Trim ]. It is not necessary to remove the complete
steering column trim.

Remove the two bolts - 1 - (1.5 Nm).

-

Remove the two bolts - 2 - (1.5 Nm).

-

Disengage trim panel - 3 - from instrument panel and disconnect wiring harness from headlamp range control.
