Fuel Injectors

Removing

‹› Observe the safety precautions. Refer to --> [ Safety Precautions ] See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Safety Precautions.

‹› Observe the rules for cleanliness. Refer to --> [ Clean Working Conditions ] See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Clean Working

Conditions.

First, check whether a coded radio is installed. If necessary, obtain the anti-theft coding.

Disconnect the battery..

Remove the engine cover with air filter. Refer to --> [ Engine Cover with Air Filter ] See: Air Cleaner Housing/Service and Repair/Engine Cover
with Air Filter.

CAUTION!
Fuel supply line is under pressure! Wear protective goggles and protective clothing to prevent injuries and contact with skin. Before
loosening the fuel lines, place a cloth around the connection point. Then release pressure by carefully disconnecting the connection.

Disconnect the vent line - 2 - and the fuel supply line - 3 -. To release the line - 1 -, press the circlip in. With the line - 3 -, the retainer must be
pressed upward in the housing.

Disconnect the electrical connectors - 1 -, -  2 - and - 6 -.
