Press the carbon brushes in the voltage regulator housing and insert the voltage regulator into the generator.

Tighten all fasteners to specified values. Refer to --> [ Generator Tightening Specifications ] See: Alternator/Specifications/Generator Tightening
Specifications.

Slide protective cap into guide rails - arrows - until it engages audibly.
