Clutch Master Cylinder: Service and Repair

Master Cylinder

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Pliers (T10005)

Removing

-

Remove mounting bracket --> [ Mounting Bracket ] See: Clutch Pedal Assembly/Service and Repair/Mounting Bracket.

-

Disengage master cylinder operating rod mount using pliers (T10005).

-

Place spacer - A - between clutch pedal and stop and press clutch pedal toward spacer.

‹› Length of spacer = approximately 40 mm (e.g. 1/ 2" socket insert)

Disengage securing bracket - B - and pull master cylinder out of mounting bracket - arrow 1 - and -  arrow 2 -.
