Shifter M/T: Removal and Replacement
Boot with Shifter Knob and Noise Insulation
Boot with Shifter Knob and Noise Insulation
Removing
-
Pull boot upward out of center console frame or carefully pry out - arrows -.
On some equipment versions, you must pry out boot at front area.

Roll boot up over shifter knob.

Open clamp - arrow - and remove shifter knob and boot.
In some equipment versions, the center console frame remains in center console.

Then the center console frame must be pulled out or carefully pried out - arrow 1 -.
