Subframe, Removing and Installing

Subframe, removing and installing 

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required 

Torque wrench V.A.G. 1332

Engine/transmission jack V.A.G 1383 A with universal transmission mount V.A.G 1359/2

Removing 
-

Remove wheel.

-

Remove noise insulation.

-

Mark installation position of bolts from ball joint to control arm.

-

Remove bolts - Arrows -.

-

Disconnect drive axle from transmission axle flange.

-

Secure drive axle to structure with wire.
The drive axle must not hang down!

-

Pull wheel bearing housing with ball joint out from control arm.
