t  In the overview the removal and installation of the rear part is described for vehicles 06.05. The removal and installation for vehicles 07.05 also applies although minor differences may be encountered.
t  The rear wings and the rear bumper cover can only be removed together from the vehicle, as the so-called ”rear part”.
   
1 - Rear part
q   Removing:
–  Remove wheel housing liners → Chapter
–  Remove rear lights → Electrical system; Rep. Gr.94
–  Remove fuel tank flap unit → Chapter
–  Remove bolts → Item, → Item and → Item
–  Remove nuts → Item
–  Unscrew bolts → Item and → Item
–  Pull rear part on left and right sides outwards off the threaded studs and take off rearwards with assistance of two mechanics
q   Installing:
–  Before fitting the rear part, cover contact surfaces with anti-scratch film → Item or check the condition of old anti-scratch film

q   Insert with locking fluid -D 185 400 A2-
3 - Bolt/screw
q   7.5 Nm
